"When Furries Attack"

Films: Shriek of the Mutilated (1974)

Alias: Dr. Ernst Prell, Dr. Karl Werner

Type: Natural

Location: Forest/Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: There is nothing more infuriating than thinking you scored the jackpot in terms of finding the coveted cryptids, only for it all to turn out to be some flea-bitten hoax. We just don't remember these fakes being this malicious.

History: Ernst Prell and Karl Werner were cannibals. Specifically, leaders of a large cannibal cult situated in Boot Island feasting on "gin sung" (read: human flesh). Their strategy for luring potential victims was to pretend to be Yetis, and feast on those hoping to find the frosty ape man. It's near fool-proof.

Notable Kills: Seeing how they don't like their meat bruised in any way, their servant Laughing Crow kills someone through fear.

Final Fate: Alas, the plan goes accordingly, and the last survivor of the endeavor finds himself eager to join the cult, seeing how his previous plan has gone up in shambles.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3-Their costumes leave a bit to be desired. They're bulky and fanged, yes, but they stick out in the woods like sore thumbs. As for the cannibals themselves, they're certainly creepy.

Trivia: -This film is also known as "Mutilated" and "Scream of the Snowbeast".

-There are two versions of this film, but one is out of print due to including a copyright-triggering pop song.

I think spoiling the surprised was needed in this case. Dissapointment lessens.
"Mr. Rodgers! Good morning and prepare to meet your maker!"
I can see why he needed the costume. Nobody would look at him with a straight face.
